【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesproductcharacteristicsforuseinanoriginalequipmentmanufacturer'sorauthorizedthirdparty'sdeclarationofconformitytodemonstratethatanofficeequipmentproductthatcontainsreusedcomponentsperformsequivalenttonew,meetingequivalenttonewcomponentSpecificationsandperformancecriteria,andcontinuestomeetallthesafetyandenvironmentalcriteriarequiredbyresponsiblybuiltproducts.TheInternationalStandardisrelevanttoofficeequipmentproductswhosemanufacturingandrecoveryprocessesresultinthereuseofcomponents.AnnexChasadescriptionofhowreuserelatestootherrecyclingprocesses.ThisInternationalStandardspecificallyaddressesofficeequipment.ConsumableitemssuchascustomerreplaceabletonercartridgesarenotinthescopeofthisInternationalStandard.EquipmentreprocessedbytheoriginalmanufactureroranauthorizedthirdpartythatdoesNOTmeettheequipment'soriginaldesignperformancespecificationisnotinthescopeofthisInternationalStandard.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicableto:—Asituationinwhichagovernmentrequiresaneutralbenchmarktoevaluatethequality,safetyandperformanceofequipmentthatcontainsreusedcomponentsandtodemonstratetheenvironmentalresponsibilityofthesupplier.Whenregulationsmandateaneutralbenchmarkforequipment,thisInternationalStandardprovidesthebenchmarkforprovingcompliancewithsuchregulation.—Asituationinwhichacommercialsupplierrequiresaneutralbenchmarktodemonstrateandcommunicatethequality,safetyandperformanceofequipmentthatcontainsreusedcomponentsandtodemonstratetheenvironmentalresponsibilityofthesupplier.—Situationsinwhichconsumersrequireaneutralbenchmarktoidentifyordistinguishenvironmentallyresponsibleproducts.ThisInternationalStandardreflectstheworld'scurrentapproachesthatyieldproductsfrommanymanufacturingprocessesincludingthereuseofcomponents,withtheequipment'swarrantiesandguaranteesplayinganimportantroleinthemarketacceptance.Intoday'sprocurementprocesses,technicalequipmentdefinitionsusedbytheregulatorsmustbeaddressedand,inthatsense,thisInternationalStandardwillbeusefulinprocurementand,inthetradefacilitationarea,tocommunicatewiththeregulators.ThisInternationalStandardspecificallyaddressesofficeequipment.However,inthefutureitmayprovidevaluabledirectionsforotherindustriesandindustrialsectors.
