【摘要】:Carbondioxide(R744)isoftenusedinthelow-tempsideofcascadesystems.Duetothepressure-temperaturerelationshipofR744,itwouldbecostprohibitiveandunnecessarytomeetallthedesignpressurerequirementsofSection9.2forrefrigerationsystemsusingR744,sincetherequiredstandbypressuresforR744aremuchhigherthanthoseexperiencedduringnormaloperation.TheproposedchangeallowsR744asasecondarycoolantorrefrigerantincertainsituations,permittinglimitedreleasestotheatmosphereduringunusualevents,suchasanextendedpowerfailurewithcoincidentheatgainsthatraisesystempressures.
