【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoverstheselectionanduseoftestmethodsandproceduresfortestingindustrialprotectivecoatings.Selectionofthestandardstobefollowedmustbegovernedbyexperienceandtherequirementsineachindividualcase,togetherwithagreementbetweenthesupplierandtheuser.1.2Thisguidecoversthetestingofliquidcoatingsasappliedonsubstratebybrushing,rolling,spraying,orothermeansappropriatetothecoatingandcircumstance.Note1Theterm"industrialprotectivecoating"asusedinthisguideisdescribedinthescopeofSubcommitteeD01.46as"paintsappliedtosubstrateson-siteofstructuresandbuildings,especiallywheresubjecttocorrosiveenvironments,asindustrial,urban,andmarineenvironments."Note2Guidesfortestingothercoatingtypes,suchasGuidesD4712,D5146,D5324orforsurfacepreparation,coatingapplication,suchasGuideD3276,areavailableandshouldbeusedwhenitisapplicable.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
